| Hey mamas!!! I am at Wordpress now! I want to leave this blog up, as it records a very special and indeed hard time in my life. It is sorta like the old diary you stop writing in, just because it doesn't feel right. Ya know?
I'd love to hear from all my blogging mama friends!! I have missed so much! I forgot to update my email address with Xanga, so I haven't been notified of anything. I hope you are all doing well.
Namaste! -a.
(The old posts have been made private, for me to visit from time to time. They record the death of my mother, my pregnancy, and then the death of my sister. These times were inexplicably complex and trying for me. Thank you again for sharing in the journey)

Okay, so here is a little previow of the stuff I got sewn! Lots of tiny diapers, and some for Lillianna, too... but her's are all in the pail now. Tiny diapers:

Here are my favorite ones so far...

As you can see, I am addicted to dyeing fabrics... not just yarn! White and solid are just so boring!
I also made her this little dress today for Halloween. She really likes it! I'll post pics of her happy dances in a protected post next....

close up of the appliqued pumpkin pocket, and my "outside" label:

I don't usually make dresses this shape, they're normally more spinny... but I only had this much of the Hello Kitty fabric. Eh well!
| *I have removed my poor post. No need to publicly whine so much.* | | |
| I kinda forgot to update that work in progress pic, huh?? Well... here's the front:

and here's the back:

And remember what I was saying about not being able to get a true representation of this particular colorway? Well, look what I mean... THIS is the tiny little picture I could get it accurate:

Crazy, no!? So, now it is certain that I love this Fern & Faerie soaker pattern! I also got the Little Turtle Knits felted mocs pattern, since Miz T will be publishing it in a book soon! I finally have a particular use for all that Peace Fleece I have!
Speaking of! The latest order of Peace Fleece landed this evening, and it is the SOFTEST batch I've felt yet... all the colors!! I'm so excited! I also got that pound of Corriedale handspun. It's like spun clouds! I think I will dye some up and reserve it for newborn/tiny babe use as I'm sure it wouldn't fare well against the LilliBug. So... what've you been doing???

| Well, here it is... the work in progress:

I'm having the HARDEST time getting colors accurate?! Some days, they're perfect, other days... well... At least you can see the maroon color there... and THAT is why this is not my "Twilight" at all. I love love love the blues/purples... just didn't intend on the red screaming out like that! This is on Bartlett's yarn, knitted on size 6 needles. I must be weird, but I like to knit things on smaller needles for Lillianna. I think it makes a better suited fabric for overnights and well, toddler floods. I'm really liking this F&F pattern, too. The other soaker pattern I used seems too boxy for me, but maybe that's something I did wrong?? I dunno.
I can't believe I only learned how to cast on and knit not even 2 months ago! woohoo! I'll be ready to do some sweaters and other things besides diapering stuff when I'm finished up making L some more, and the tiny one (two?!?) some covers and pants, too.
More later... off to knit some more! Be well!
